#CookingKatKat: Rotisserie Chicken

We're one of those families whose large ovens are filled with towels. Hahahuhu. πŸ˜‚ For a few months now I've been wanting to try out baking, and finally we got a functional oven! I already got my list of dishes/desserts to make but I ended up making grilled cheese for breakfast and rotisserie chicken for lunch.
I read recipes online trying to know how long and at what temperature I'm supposed to cook the chicken. My first try was experimental as it could be.

I cooked the chicken parts at a temperature that was too low so I ended up prolonging cooking time. ☹️
However, my second try was almost perfect! Hihihi. It was really golden, juicy, and delicious. ❤️

I'm really looking forward to cooking more dishes!

Christmas Date 2015

It’s that time again – Christmas break! We always make it a point to go on a date once finals week ends to mark our last day together for the year and to celebrate Christmas in advance as well.
Last year, we went to Antojos’ first branch in San Juan then to Rita’s in their first branch in Greenhills. This year we were supposed to go to Makati but I guess we were meant to go to Greenhills again. Haha. There were so much changes in plans but it’s not the plan that makes me happy, it’s the person I’m with, the same person who planned a date with me. ❤️ Basically, our day was planned well enough to have spontaneity. I’m not sure how to imagine that without experiencing it. Hahaha. Anyhoo, we ate at Katsu Sora, the nearest place to us when we decided to eat first before catching a movie.
I love their bulb cages!
My meal

Yummy but not worth the price ☹️
It was my first time dining at a Katsu place. Justin asked me “So how was your first experience?” It was fast. Hahaha! We had a hour to eat but it was cut to half an hour because of ordering and waiting, etc. cos we had to rush to A Second Chance. Like i said, we won’t get a third chance if we miss the start of the movie cos it already is A Second Chance wahahaha :3 corny ko.

We were supposed to watch The Little Prince although I did want to watch A Second Chance too. We ended up watching the latter with Justin quite hesitant. Damn that movie was great. John Lloyd and Bea, and everyone were so good! I cried a lot hahaha and Justin cried a lot too. How adorable. :3
After our promenade adventure we went to Icebergs for more dessert! I didn't want anything too sweet so we opted for a fruity parfait.
